"After an earlier than expected emergency C-section, I arrived home with a slightly pre-term baby filled with many questions. Amanda was a knowledgeable and calming presence in the midst of some initial breastfeeding issues, making my transition into motherhood smooth and enjoyable. She keenly anticipated the baby's needs, as well as my own, and was an absolute pleasure to be around each day. Amanda is a graceful and humble person who truly loves to care for newborns, as evidenced by the joy and enthusiam with which she tackled each and every task around the house. We are blessed that she came into our lives and look forward to her friendship and counsel as our baby grows."
"We are incredibly grateful that Amanda came into our lives when our third child was born I had a scheduled c-section for the delivery and I knew I needed someone who could help me as soon as I got home. I booked Amanda in advance, hoping to make the transition home easier. She was such a blessing from the very moment she arrived. I never had to tell her what to do because she instinctively knew everything that we needed. You can tell that she genuinely loves babies, as she always has a smile on her face when she holds the baby. She is so knowledgeable and so pleasant to be around, that I would definitely hire her again if we have any more children. In fact, she was so helpful with the baby and older kids, too, that she ended up staying with us for several weeks after the baby came home!"
"From the moment I came home from the hospital, Amanda looked for ways to love and care for my newborn daughter and me. She was an angel that walked into our lives! Gifted with a kind and gentle disposition, she helped make my transition to new motherhood a joyful and restful one. Her expertise and skill were immediately apparent from the time she entered our home. Before long, my husband and I found that she was much more than a baby nurse; she had become our dear friend.”
"I highly recommend Amanda Chamberlain as a baby nurse. There is no greater decision than deciding who to entrust your newborn’s care to. After a difficult second pregnancy and complicated labor, I was on bed rest even after my baby was born. A nurse/midwife stayed with us until I was cleared to return to normal activities. After having been on bed rest for three months I had one unhappy preschooler and a two week old baby on my hands. Thankfully the nurse/midwife referred us to Amanda and she came to help as I gathered back my strength. Amanda was wonderful. She took excellent care of my newborn and helped with chores around the house. I will be forever grateful for not only the care she gave my newborn and family, but the grace with which she did it.”
